Just driven home from the jail passing a church I used to cover when I was a curate.

What fond memories – of a burial conducted in a monsoon; coffin floating at the bottom of the grave in a foot of water – and a wedding, with an immovable gobshite of a horse, and a bride who was being sewn into a dress she had forgotten to try on.

Laughing all the way home

My face this morning when I wound the car window down to get rid of a blanket of view obscuring snow. Creating a teetering wall of, now unsupported, snow. Which then, slowly, and with enough pause for recognition of my error, toppled into my lap.

Six hour drive home from Winchester, greatly enlivened by student’s choice of Spotify requests : Disney hits. The Sound of Music. Grease!

They did the actions, while I conducted with my head.

Very very amusing…
